Word of the Week: Celebrate! I hear the pop of Prosecco.

This weeks word of the week post is Celebrate!

Hey! So my last word of the week was dedication, and it was one of the most positive and productive weeks I’d had in a long time.

This one has been less productive, but has still been one busy week. It was my 37th birthday on Tuesday and my son Jake’s 10th on Wednesday. My eldest son, Zac, met Bear Grylls on a scout day which was super inspiring for him. What’s more, my daughter Daisy-Mae started walking. At almost 17 months, she made us wait, that’s for sure.

So there has been cakes galore, the sound of singing and of course the pop, pour and bubble of Prosecco. Just wonderful. I even had an afternoon sleep on my birthday following a few lunchtime glasses of bubbly- now that really was heaven.

Its been a wonderful week of growth and change, progress and love. My wonderful family and friends have made us feel so special. Thank you, you know who you are. And Daisy-Mae. You’re my superstar. May your feet take you to wonderful places and onto even more epic achievements.

About the Image ‘Celebrate’

Here’s a little information about the image I created for this post. I’ve been experimenting with various apps and gadgets again recently.

The ‘Celebration’ text and balloons text were cut using my new Cricut Explore. An amazing addition to my studio equipment. Plus the Cricut Design space software is online, so you don’t need a desktop/laptop computer to be able to design your Cricut craft projects. I’ll be posting more about that later.

I’ve been using the free Sketchbook Express App to add the additional graphics and text. I’m using this app with the Intuos Creative Stylus. An experiment in progress.

The ‘celebrate’ image was taken with my iPad camera with HDR selected.
The image is further edited in Snapseed.

This post is written using the WordPress app.

So this post has been created entirely on my iPad. Not bad eh?!

Have a great week ahead everybody.
