I hated writing this post.
I had to choose some photos to illustrate the beauty of VintagePiken aka Line Kay’s, beautiful photography. An awful task because there are simply so many gorgeous shots to be chosen. You may have already seen how she has inspired one of my moodboards recently. Ethereal, other worldly, soft yet dashing and striking.
It’s Friday and I’m head over heels in love with Line Kay’s photography.
What is even worse, as her photos and styling entice me in, they leave me wanting more. I want to touch the objects in her textured pictures. Smell the fruits and flowers that she expertly styles. Sit and ask her a million questions, about the stories that have taken place inside those interiors, looking so crisp and cool. Making me want to know more about Line Kay herself. The stylist, photographer and in my eyes, artist. Who are her favourite artists, photographers, interiors, shops, books, quotes etc? But like her photographs, she remains elusive.
Line Kay gives us a little glimpse into her world with the occasional quote or writing. Then leaves us to ponder and meditate on the imagery, forcing us to come to our own conclusions.
Her work reminds me Paolo Roversi portraits but in Still Life. The colour palette and feeling of texture are similar.
The VintagePiken About Page reads simply:

Have a beautiful weekend
