‘Making Sense’
Creative Mindfulness Course
Learn a different form of mindfulness, blending creative exercises with sensory experience.
Sometimes, there just aren’t enough moments in the day to stop and breathe - I get it. You long for an opportunity to enjoy time out from your busy schedule. To explore your creative side that has lain dormant for a frustratingly long time. Maybe you’re just fed up with wasting time scrolling mindlessly on your phone; lost down rabbit holes of pointless video content.
I have something for you!
The ‘Making Sense’ Creative Mindfulness Course brings together art-making techniques, creative thinking, mindfulness exercises and group reflection. In a new and unexpected way.
Each week we’ll mindfully engage one of your senses: sight, smell, sound, touch, taste and whole-body awareness. Providing you with an opportunity to explore your creative potential, clear creative blocks or even spark that next big idea.
No art degree’s required…
We use simple materials like pens, pencils and paper to explore. Actually, when it comes to your mindset, a blank canvas is even better!

Liz Naik,
RTT Hypnotherapist & Digital Wellbeing Coach
“Georgie’s Creative Mindfulness course is very special and not to be missed. After a busy day, I found myself in a welcoming, non-judgmental space where I was free to relax, to be myself and to discover things about my own senses that I was not fully aware of.
It was beneficial to have the opportunity to share and experience the different perspectives of the other participants.
One of Georgie’s many special talents is her ability to be absolutely natural and authentic, creating a relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere to be savoured (with all senses!). I already miss those special moments ❤️🧡”
Richard Lalchan,
Clarity Coach to Creative Business Owners
“I'm missing the Monday night sessions.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calming space in which to be present, engage with their senses and embrace creativity, which will naturally inspire confidence.
It definitely helped me directly to be more creative on specific projects I was working on at the time. I can't recommend it enough!”
Martyn McDermott,
UX Designer & Digital Product Designer
“Creative block or stagnancy can feel quite overwhelming for people. Using the techniques in this course can smash down those barriers to creative thinking. This course opens the mind to the endless possibilities available when you combine mindfulness with creative exploration.
I found that creating, reflecting and sharing as a group a powerful experience that really helps combat imposter syndrome too.
Most of all I realised how to build creative habits into my daily routine. I don’t need to make time to be creative because you can turn any moment of any day into a creative opportunity!”
FAQ’s
-
With creative mindfulness, we use our art-making as a point of focus, instead of the breath as traditionally used in mindfulness practices. You can read in more detail about Creative Mindfulness on my blog :)
-
Absolutely, we use simple, practical techniques that you can use anywhere. I approach mindfulness from a ‘focus training’ and ‘mind awareness’ point of view. No meditation cushion or yoga mat is required.
-
Nope! This course is accessible to everyone of any ability.
-
You can already draw! My mantra is, if you can write, you can draw. Instead, this course will unlock your creativity but it isn’t designed to teach you to become ‘better’ at learning how to draw/paint/sculpt. We take that pressure away and silence the inner critic. To do this we use simple materials to make marks, draw, write, mould, paint and play.
-
I keep the groups to a maximum of 7 participants, so everyone has an opportunity to share their experiences and get to know each other.
-
Pens, pencils and paper are all you really need. I’ll give you advance info about what we’ll be using each week but I encourage you to use what you have around your house.
-
Not to worry! I’ll send you the exercises for you to try in your own time as well as a video tutorial for you to follow along.
-
This is an opportunity to give yourself a break and focus on your well-being for a couple of hours. However, if it’s difficult, I’d rather you came along with them, rather than missing out - they can even join in! This course is aimed at grown-ups but I'm developing a course specifically for kids in the future.
