Daler-Rowney Aquafine Smooth Hot-Pressed Watercolour & Gouache A3 300gsm Paper Pad

Surprisingly, I really enjoy using this for fineliner drawing. It has a subtle texture and a beautiful warm white tone that suits my lines perfectly. It feels like a special occasion every time I draw on it.

Sakura Pigma Micron Fineliner 003mm - Black, 8 Pen Set

My favourite nib for shading is the 0.03mm (the line width is 0.15 mm.) Tip: it’s more economical to buy these pens in bulk. These pens utilise archival-quality, water-based ink and are quick-drying.

Daler-Rowney Graphic Series Smooth Surface 250gsm A3 Bristol Board Pad

If you prefer a smoother surface, Bristol board is perfect. I really like this one because the white isn’t too ‘bright’. I buy A3 and then cut it down to A4 and A5.

Tom’s Studio Mechanical Pencil

I use this mechanical pencil for everything - sketching, doodling, plotting ideas. (I have the blush 0.5mm version.) It has a lovely feel on paper and perfect weight to it. It’s a sophisticated little beauty!
